After eight months without trying to stomach the overexcited bilge routinely churned out by NME journalists, last week’s free cover-mounted CD (an excellent journey through the Domino catalogue) sucked me into relenting and buying a copy. Little seems to have changed – everything has to be taken with more than just a pinch of salt.
